KANSO began with a cupboard packed with garments and only a handful we actually wore. We were tired of owning a lot and wearing a little — so we started again, with less: One collection of essentials, each made properly, and made to be lived in.

We don't do seasons. KANSO is one permanent collection, kept in production and improved in small, deliberate steps. Nothing is discontinued to make room for the next thing - the piece you buy today is the one we'll still be making years from now, only quietly better.

Woven and cut with care.
Our cotton is milled in India, our linen woven from long-staple flax — chosen for how they feel after a hundred washes, not how they look on the first day. Every piece is cut and sewn in a single workshop we know by name.
